The recommendations and proposals for improving the overall framework of the regulatory reform in Bulgaria are the key result of the project “REGULATORY REFORM IN BULGARIA – FIVE YEARS OF STAGNATION OR DEVELOPMENT?”, which we successfully implemented, funded under the Operational Programme “Good Governance”, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund, under Procedure BG05SFOP001-2.025 for the award of grants through selection “Increasing civic participation in the processes of implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation”.
Its main purpose is to serve as a handbook for the bodies and administrations of the legislative and executive branches by proposing concrete practical solutions to the problems, identified on the basis of facts and evidence, related to the poor quality of the public policies and legislation developed in our country.
The ultimate result pursued by the study is to promote interaction between the decision-making institutions and their administration, on the one hand, and citizens, on the other, in the preparation of policies and regulatory measures, in order to achieve a more favourable regulatory environment in Bulgaria.
